Abstract: The use of protected environments promotes adequate conditions for production throughout the year, being essential to obtain better plant performance. As well as the use of reflective material and substrate coverage can allow the formation of plants with greater photosynthetic capacity and a larger root system, increasing production. Thus, the objective was to evaluate different cultivation environments, substrate cover and reflective bench in the production of Pepper fruits, Capsicum annuum L, in the region of Cassilândia - MS. The experiments were developed at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS), University Unit of Cassilândia-MS. Four cultivation environments with different levels of shading were evaluated: 1) Agricultural screen with screen under the film with 18% shading (A1); with 30% shading (A2); agricultural screen with Aluminet ® screen (A3) and agricultural greenhouse with 42% shading (A3). In each treatment, two types of conduction for the substrate were carried out, these with rice straw and without rice straw, and two types of bench, with and without reflective material. Fruit growth and production was evaluated. The agricultural screen with a thermo-reflective 35% shade screen favored the growth and production of sweet pepper fruits, as well as the substrate cover can benefit the culture conduction, while the countertops with reflective material did not influence the fruit production.
