PET Licenciaturas e a experiência de protagonismo discente no projeto A Ciência Feminina
A proposta deste trabalho é a de
demonstrar a atuação de discentes de um grupo
de educação tutorial, o PET Licenciaturas, do
Instituto Federal da Bahia (IFBA) Campus Porto
Seguro, na elaboração e gestão das atividades do
projeto A Ciência Feminina, aprovado em edital
da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa da Bahia
(FAPESB). O projeto teve por objetivo incentivar
a presença feminina no Ensino Superior, em
especial nas áreas de Exatas, Computação,
Engenharias e Matemática. Para tanto, ações
foram realizadas no sentido de: estimular o
ingresso de jovens em cursos superiores;
aproximar o universo científico do cotidiano
de crianças e jovens; divulgar a contribuição
feminina em diferentes áreas científicas; ajudar
a desmistificar os condicionantes socioculturais,
biológicos e cognitivos utilizados na definição de
papeis sociais e profissionais entre os gêneros
e contribuir para acabar com os parâmetros
masculinos que monopolizam o mundo das
ciências, estimulando a compreensão da
necessidade de princípios mais democráticos,
isonômicos entre os gêneros. Por outro lado,
o projeto contribuiu para a formação dos
petianos no que se refere à problematização de
questões relacionadas à promoção da inclusão
e responsabilidade social, decorrentes de suas
percepções como agentes potencialmente
reflexivos, críticos e transformadores da
realidade.

Abstract:
The proposal of this work is to demonstrate the work of students of a tutorial
education group, PET Licenciaturas, of the Instituto Federal Bahia (IFBA) Campus
Porto Seguro, in the elaboration and management of the activities of the project The
Female Science, approved in an announcement of the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa
da Bahia (FAPESB). The project aimed to encourage the female presence in higher
education, especially in the areas of Exact, Computing, Engineering and Mathematics.
Therefore, actions were taken in order to: stimulate the entry of young people into higher
education; to bring the scientific universe closer to the everyday life of children and
young people; publicize the contribution of women in different scientific areas; to help
demystify the sociocultural, biological and cognitive determinants used to define social
and professional roles among the genres and to contribute to ending the masculine
parameters that monopolize the world of sciences, stimulating the understanding of the
need for more democratic, isonomic principles between genders . On the other hand,
the project contributed to the formation of petianos in relation to the problematization of
issues related to the promotion of inclusion and social responsibility, arising from their
perceptions as agents potentially reflexive, critical and transforming the reality.
