PESQUISA E PRODUÇÃO DO CONHECIMENTO NO SERVIÇO SOCIAL NOS ANOS 2000
O presente estudo tenciona
contextualizar a conjuntura da crise da
Modernidade e da Pós-modernidade, com o
propósito de verificar a presença desse legado
na produção das dissertações defendidas entre
os anos 2000 e 2009 do programa Programa
de Pós-graduação em Serviço Social da
Universidade Federal da Paraíba. Resulta de um
estudo bibliográfico realizado a partir do estado
da arte, materializado através das dissertações
defendidas neste período. A década de 2000
é marcada pelos respingos de mudanças
sociais, culturais e políticas dos anos 1990 e
que se intensificam na década de 2000, sendo
evidente o espraiamento da questão social com
faces contemporâneas, rebatendo diretamente
na perda de direitos sociais conquistados
pincipalmente para os trabalhadores e as
investidas do ideário neoliberal na sociedade
na área política, social e econômica. Diante
desses fatores, por meio das dissertações
pode ser percebida a contribuição do Serviço
Social para a compreensão e da realidade da
conjuntura dos anos 2000 e seu esforço pela
busca de respostas para as demandas que são
colocadas para a profissão.

Abstract:
The present study intends to
contextualize the conjuncture of the crisis of
Modernity and Postmodernity, with the purpose
of verifying the presence of this legacy in the
production of the dissertations defended
between the years 2000 and 2009 of the
Program Postgraduate in Social Work of the
Federal University of Paraíba. It results from
a bibliographical study made from the state of
the art, materialized through the dissertations
defended in this period. The decade of 2000 is
marked by the spills of social, cultural and political
changes of the 1990s and that intensified in the
decade of 2000, being evident the spreading of
the social question with contemporary faces,
directly rebounding in the loss of social rights conquered mainly for the workers and the
onslaughts of neoliberal ideology in society in the political, social and economic sphere.
Faced with these factors, through the dissertations can be perceived the contribution
of Social Service to the understanding and reality of the conjuncture of the years 2000
and its effort to find answers to the demands that are placed on the profession.
