Pernona non grata? As representações de Michel Temer em Carta Capital
Este estudo busca analisar as imagens de Michel Temer, político do PMDB que ocupa a presidência do Brasil desde o impeachment da presidenta eleita Dilma Rousseff, veiculadas nas capas da revista semanal de informação Carta Capital, durante ano de 2017. Nosso corpus inclui todas as edições em que ele aparece nas capas durante esse período. Procuramos verificar quais as representações sociais são mobilizadas para a construção de um imaginário sobre o indivíduo Michel Temer e seu papel como presidente da nação. A metodologia empregada busca referências no campo semiótico e da Análise do Discurso. A análise faz parte de uma pesquisa em andamento que verifica também as outras revistas semanais de informação que circulam no Brasil, Veja, IstoÉ e Época, que trouxeram Temer na capa ao longo de 2017.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the images of Michel Temer published on the cover of the weekly Carta Capital information magazine during 2017. Temer is PMDB politician who has held the presidency of Brazil since the impeachment of President-elect Dilma Rousseff. Our corpus includes all the issues in which it appears on the covers during this time. We try to verify which social representations are mobilized for the construction of an imaginary about the figure of Michel Temer and his role as president of the nation. The methodology used seeks references in the semiotic field and Discourse Analysis.This analysis is part of an ongoing research that also verifies the others weekly magazines of information that circulate in Brazil, Veja, IstoÉ and Época, that brought Temer on the cover throughout 2017.
