PERFIL SOCIAL E PROFISSIONAL DOS EGRESSOS DO CURSO DE LICENCIATURA EM MATEMÁTICA DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO FEDERAL DE ENSINO SITUADA EM URUÇUÍ/PI
A matemática é uma ciência que está presente em todos os lugares e contextos e, normalmente, é considerada como de difícil compreensão por alunos e professores. Por esse motivo, a valorização do profissional da área através de incentivos à qualificação é uma ferramenta indispensável ao delineamento da mudança dessa percepção. É necessário que o docente esteja sempre procurando aperfeiçoar-se, buscando meios que possibilitem agregação de benefícios para sua formação. Deste modo, objetivou-se conhecer o perfil social e profissional dos egressos dos anos de 2016 e 2017 do curso de Licenciatura em matemática de uma Instituição Federal do município de Uruçuí do estado do Piauí, assim como as contribuições que a licenciatura trouxe para os mesmos. Para realização do trabalho, inicialmente, obteve-se um contato com o grupo de profissionais do curso de licenciatura em matemática a fim de explicitar as intenções da pesquisa. Em um segundo momento, o link contendo o questionário bem como o termo de consentimento livre foi enviado aos participantes da pesquisa. Por meio dos dados coletados, verificou-se um número significativo de pessoas que buscaram uma formação continuada e que possuem grande satisfação em atuar na área docente. Através da licenciatura os egressos obtiveram oportunidades de se inserir no mercado de trabalho e melhorar sua condição econômica, didático-pedagógico e social, sendo notória a mudança significativa no perfil dos mesmos.

Abstract:
Mathematics is a science that is present in all places and contexts and is usually considered to be difficult to understand by students and teachers. For this reason, the valorization of the professional in the area through incentives for qualification is an indispensable tool for delineating the change in this perception. It is necessary that the teacher is always looking to improve himself, looking for ways that enable the aggregation of benefits for his training. In this way, the objective was to know the social and professional profiles of graduates from the years 2016 and 2017 of the Bachelor's degree in mathematics from a Federal Institution in the municipality of Uruçuí in the state of Piauí, as well as the contributions that the degree brought to them . To carry out the work, initially, a contact was obtained with the group of professionals in the mathematics degree course in order to explain the intentions of the research. In a second step, the link containing the questionnaire as well as the free consent form was sent to the research participants. Through the data collected, there was a significant number of people who sought continuing education and who have great satisfaction in working in the teaching area. Through graduation, graduates obtained opportunities to enter the labor market and improve their economic, didactic-pedagogical and social conditions, with a notable change in their profile.
