Abstract: Syphilis is a chronic infectious disease that has challenged for centuries, despite having an effective and low-cost treatment, it has remained a public health problem to this day. Syphilis in pregnancy can be passed through the placenta and the untreated disease can develop health problems for the baby and even death. Thus, there are important studies that address the subject, as this aims to identify the epidemiological profile of health related to pregnant women with syphilis in the city of Pacajus-CE. This is a documental study, with a hypothetical-deductive method, a descriptive and exploratory objective, and an analysis approach. The sample consisted of 75 women2 in the gestational period with a positive diagnosis for syphilis between the years of 2011 and the residents of Pacajus CE were treated and followed up in the basic health units of the municipality of 2011. highest number of cases in 2021 with the highest probability of the period, totaling more than 50 cases. From the data, the patients also occurred in the number of cases of syphilis that occurred, which can cause problems in prenatal care, both because of the health team and the occurrences. It is necessary to evaluate an improvement of these prenatal data and an awareness of pregnant women about the risks of the quality of prenatal data.
