PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO DE CÂNCER EM MUNICÍPIO DE PEQUENO PORTE DO SUL DO BRASIL
O termo câncer é utilizado para representar um conjunto de mais de 100 doenças, incluindo neoplasias malignos de diferentes localizações. O objetivo da pesquisa foi descrever o perfil dos pacientes com diagnóstico médico de câncer nos anos de 2009 a 2013. As informações necessárias para realização deste trabalho foram obtidas através do setor de agendamento da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde do município. Foram notificados 232 casos de câncer, desses 55,60% são do sexo masculino e 44,39 % feminino. A taxa de incidência foi maior no ano de 2012 com 1,7 casos/1000 habitantes. A faixa etária predominante foi de 60 anos. Foi observado um alto índice de câncer no trato gastrointestinal. A cirurgia foi a formam de tratamento mais realizada e 19,36% foram a óbito. Conclui-se que os resultados poderão contribuir na implementação de políticas visando à programação de medidas nos diferentes níveis de atenção à saúde do município de Bandeirantes.

Abstract:
The term cancer is used to represent a set of more than 100 diseases, including different malignancies. The objective of the research was to describe the profile of patients with a medical diagnosis of cancer in the years 2009 to 2013. The information necessary for carrying out it was found through the scheduling sector of the Municipal Health Department of the municipality. 232 cases of cancer were reported, 55.60% are male and 44.39% female. The incidence rate was higher in 2012 with 1.7 cases / 1000 inhabitants. A predominant age group was 60 years old. A high rate of cancer was observed in the gastrointestinal tract. Surgery was the most common form of treatment and 19.36% died. It is concluded that the results that contribute to the implementation of policies specific to priority at different levels of health care in the municipality of Bandeirantes.
