Abstract: Introduction: Ischemic heart disease, characterized by the obstruction of coronary arteries, often requires cardiac catheterization (coronary angiography) and angioplasty with stent placement, procedures that restore blood flow and prevent severe complications, such as angina and acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation plays a crucial role in patient recovery and may extend beyond hospital care, continuing throughout life. Objective: To analyze the profile of patients undergoing coronary angiography and/or angioplasty with stent placement, treated at the Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy Laboratory (LAFICRI). Method: This study was conducted between March and April 2025 at the Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy Laboratory (LAFICRI) of a community university in the Extreme South of Santa Catarina. It followed a quantitative, descriptive, and retrospective approach, using documentary methods and analysis of secondary and field data. Data were collected from physical and electronic medical records, covering the period from 2022 to 2024. Results: Findings showed that 50% of the patients were men, with an average age of 65 years. Among them, 50% underwent angioplasty and 50% received a stent. The most prevalent comorbidities were systemic arterial hypertension (SAH - 100%), diabetes mellitus (DM - 66.7%), and dyslipidemia (58.3%). Most patients came from the coal region, especially Criciúma. Discussion:These results reinforce previous findings, highlighting the relevance of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in patient recovery and the importance of nurses within the multidisciplinary team. Beyond clinical care, nurses play a key role in health education, promoting self-care, and coordinating treatment, ensuring greater adherence to therapy. Conclusion: This study underscores the need for standardization in clinical records to enhance future research. Although some data were limited due to the recent implementation of electronic medical records, the findings confirm the significance of nursing in cardiovascular rehabilitation. Nurses are essential in patient recovery, providing continuous and humanized care, positively impacting quality of life.
