PERFIL DE INTERNAÇÕES POR DOENÇAS DO APARELHO RESPIRATÓRIO EM PERNAMBUCO (2008-2016)
Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico do tipo descritivo, com a finalidade de investigar o perfil de internações oriundas de doenças do aparelho respiratório no Estado de Pernambuco, no período de 2008 a 2016. Os dados foram coletados através do Sistema de Informações Hospitalares do Sistema Único de Saúde. Na análise dos dados foram notificados 414.047 internações. Verificou-se que houve uma leve diminuição entre os anos de 2013 a 2016; a cidade de Recife foi mais prevalente; dentre as doenças do aparelho respiratório, a pneumonia e a asma apresentaram a maior incidência de internações compreendido entre as crianças de até 4 anos e os idosos com 80 anos ou mais de idade; em relação ao sexo, o masculino foi maior, porém não apresentou diferença significativa. Dessa forma, cabe ressaltar a importância de promover programas de controle, prevenção e promoção da saúde voltada a crianças e idosos, por se tratar de uma população mais vulnerável à aquisição de doenças respiratórias.

Abstract:
This is a descriptive epidemiological study with the purpose of investigating the profile of hospitalizations from respiratory diseases in the state of Pernambuco, from 2008 to 2016. Data were collected through the System of Hospital Information System In the analysis of the data, 414,047 hospitalizations were reported. It was verified that there was a slight decrease between the years of 2013 to 2016; the city of Recife was more prevalent; among diseases of the respiratory system, pneumonia and asthma had the highest incidence of hospitalizations among children up to 4 years of age and those aged 80 years and over; in relation to sex, the male was larger, but did not present a significant difference. Thus, it is important to emphasize the importance of promoting programs for the control, prevention and health promotion of children and the elderly, since it is a population that is more vulnerable to the acquisition of respiratory diseases.
