Abstract: Pelvic pain is one of the main complaints of women seeking outpatient care in health services, responsible for interfering with daily activities and having an important impact on the quality of life of these patients. Therefore, pelvic pain is not a pathology, but a clinical condition that can be triggered by different conditions and is often associated with other problems. The article aims to describe the clinical profile of women treated at a school clinic suffering from pelvic pain. This is a quantitative, descriptive and retrospective study, using the records of a teaching clinic, located in the city of Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, as a data collection instrument. Based on the results, the predominant profile in gynecological consultations is made up of women of childbearing age, with complaints of abdominal and pelvic pain, vaginal discharge associated or not with an infectious process, and irregular menstrual cycle. Therefore, as it is a complex clinical condition, new studies are suggested aimed at women with pelvic pain in its various aspects, aiming at an effective therapeutic approach that can bring positive and appropriate results to improve the quality of life of these patients.
