PERDA PONDERAL E ALTERAÇÕES HEMATOLÓGICAS EM MILITARES DURANTE O CURSO DE OPERAÇÕES ESPECIAIS (COESP) – BOPE-RJ
Curso de Operações Especiais tem como objetivo habilitar oficiais e praças graduados para a execução de missões especiais, bem como atualização de conhecimentos especializados necessários ao bom desempenho em quaisquer missões especiais com ênfase em áreas urbanas. Este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar a avaliação antropométrica e bioquímica visando quantificar a perda ponderal e alterações hematológicas. Inscritos e selecionados 49 Militares para o COESP (2018), os quais foram avaliados através de medidas antropométricas e coleta de sangue ao longo do curso (6 ações ao todo). Todos assinaram o TCLE. A partir da primeira quinzena de curso houve uma redução para 25 candidatos, tendo baixa por desistência ou quadros de pneumonia e lesões. Destes, 25 foram avaliados até o 4º mês (5 meses de duração) e 19 candidatos chegaram ao final. A perda ponderal foi evidente no 4º mês, que incluiu o teste de sobrevivência na selva, dos 18 que concluíram o curso a média de perda de peso foi 5Kg, contudo 3 candidatos perderam 10kg e 3 engordaram 2kg. Com relação ao exame hematológico 6 candidatos apresentaram padrões anêmicos, como alterações de hemoglobina e hematócrito, já no segundo mês de curso, os quais foram tratados com suplementação de sulfato ferroso e vitamina B12, que evitou seu desligamento. O Policial que permeia a conquista de ser chamado de “caveira” se dedica a buscar excelência e ter condições de passar pelos testes ingressando no Curso de Operações Especiais, hoje se faz necessário um acompanhamento nutricional para preparar o organismo destes militares para os intemperes do curso.

Abstract:
: Special Operations Course aims to enable officers and graduated officers to perform special missions, as well as updating the specialized knowledge necessary for good performance in any special missions with an emphasis on urban areas. This study aimed to carry out anthropometric and biochemical assessment in order to quantify weight loss and hematological changes. 49 military personnel were enrolled and selected for COESP (2018), which were assessed through anthropometric measurements and blood collection throughout the course (6 actions in all). Everyone signed the IC. From the first fortnight of the course, there was a reduction to 25 candidates, being discharged due to withdrawal or cases of pneumonia and injuries. Of these, 25 were evaluated until the 4th month (5 months in duration) and 19 candidates reached the end. Weight loss was evident in the 4th month, which included the jungle survival test, of the 18 who completed the course the average weight loss was 5 kg, however 3 candidates lost 10 kg and 3 gained 2 kg. Regarding the hematological examination, 6 candidates presented anemic patterns, such as changes in hemoglobin and hematocrit, in the second month of the course, which were treated with supplementation of ferrous sulfate and vitamin B12, which prevented their shutdown. The Policeman who permeates the achievement of being called a "skull" is dedicated to seeking excellence and being able to pass the tests by entering the Special Operations Course, today it is necessary a nutritional monitoring to prepare the body for the weather of the course.
