PERCEPÇÕES DE RESQUÍCIOS DA EDUCAÇÃO JESUÍTA NAS PRÁTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS DO IFES - CACHOEIRO DE ITAPEMIRIM - ES
A presente investigação pesquisou os cursos técnicos do Instituto Federal
de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia - Ifes da cidade de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim,
Espírito Santo. A problemática se dá em torno de quais elementos próprios da prática
educacional jesuíta estão presentes no lócus da pesquisa. O objetivo maior foi
encontrar indicadores que demonstrassem a permanência de práticas pedagógicas
inauguradas no Brasil pelos jesuítas no século XVI e que ainda seriam realizadas no
dito Ifes. Após a reunião do arcabouço teórico, estruturou-se a classificação desta
pesquisa como: uma pesquisa descritiva de abordagem mista e natureza básica,
com estratégia de sondagem por levantamento de dados lançando mão de métodos
teóricos e matemáticos, com recorte temporal transversal. A amostra de sujeitos
remonta a 100% de pedagogos e professores envolvidos nos cursos técnicos do Ifes,
e as ferramentas de coleta de dados aplicadas foram questionários
semiestruturados. Da análise dos resultados obtidos, foi possível constatar que os
sujeitos percebem nas práticas educacionais do Ifes muitos dos principais elementos
tradicionais da Educação Jesuíta.

Abstract:
The present study investigated the technical courses of the Federal
Institute of Education, Science and Technology - Ifes of the city of Cachoeiro de
Itapemirim, Espírito Santo. The problem is around which elements of the Jesuit
educational practice are present in the locus of research. The major objective was to
find indicators that demonstrate the permanence of pedagogical practices
inaugurated in Brazil by the Jesuits in the 16th century that would still be held at Ifes.
After the meeting of the theoretical, this research classification was structured as: a
descriptive study of mixed approach and basic nature, with probing strategy for data
collection launching hand of theoretical and mathematical methods, with transverse
temporal clipping. The sample of subjects back to 100% of educators and teachers
involved in technical courses of Ifes, and the data collection tools were applied
structured questionnaires. From the analysis of the results obtained, it was possible
to observe that the subjects perceive in educational practices of Ifes many of the
main traditional elements of Jesuit Education.
