PERCEPÇÕES DE PROFESSORES DE ADMINISTRAÇÃO SOBRE O PAPEL DA INICIAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA NA FORMAÇÃO DE SEUS ALUNOS
Apesar de ser um campo científico relativamente novo no Brasil, a pesquisa em administração tem crescido significativamente em termos quantitativos nos últimos anos. Contudo, a qualidade dessas pesquisas não tem sido equivalente à quantidade dos trabalhos produzidos. Dentre as principais questões que contribuem para esse quadro estão carências referentes a aspectos metodológicos, originalidade dos trabalhos e seus aspectos epistemológicos. O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi identificar percepções de professores de graduação em Administração sobre o papel da pesquisa científica na formação de seus alunos, visto o papel fundamental desses sujeitos no processo de investigação científica dos alunos. Como técnica de coleta de dados foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas junto a 09 professores de graduação de duas instituições de ensino superior privadas do município de Colatina, ES e que tenham alguma formação em administração. As entrevistas foram analisadas via análise de conteúdo. Conclui-se que, embora a pesquisa científica seja considerada pelos professores de administração uma ferramenta fundamental à formação de seus alunos, há também a percepção de que é preciso construir melhores práticas e estratégias nas instituições de ensino superior com vistas a alavancar o desenvolvimento dessas pesquisas. Por fim, não só alunos e instituições de ensino superior, mas também professores orientadores tem papel decisivo para a qualidade das pesquisas científicas.

Abstract:
Despite being a relatively new scientific field in Brazil, management research has grown significantly in quantitative terms in recent years. However, the quality of these surveys has not been equivalent to the amount of work produced. Among the main issues that contribute to this situation are deficiencies regarding methodological aspects, originality of the works and their epistemological aspects. The purpose of this research was to identify the perceptions of undergraduate professors in Administration about the role of scientific research in the training of their students, considering the fundamental role of these subjects in the scientific research process of the students. As a data collection technique, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 09 undergraduate professors from two private higher education institutions in the municipality of Colatina, ES, and who have some training in administration. The interviews were analyzed through content analysis. It is concluded that, although the scientific research is considered by the professors of administration a fundamental tool for the formation of its students, there is also the perception that it is necessary to build better practices and strategies in the institutions of higher education with a view to leverage the development of these researches. Finally, not only students and institutions of higher education, but also guiding teachers have a decisive role for the quality of scientific research.
