PERCEPÇÕES DE GRADUANDAS DE ENFERMAGEM SOBRE A VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER SOFRIDA NO AMBIENTE UNIVERSITÁRIO
A violência contra a mulher referese
a qualquer atitude violenta física ou verbal,
pautada no gênero, que suceda ou tenha
possibilidade de ocasionar óbito ou sofrimento
corpóreo, psicológico ou sexual, na esfera pública
ou privada. A pesquisa instituiu como objetivo
geral: analisar as percepções de graduandas de
Enfermagem sobre a violência contra a mulher
sofrida no ambiente universitário. Trata-se de
um estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório
aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa
da Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz sob
parecer nº 2.381.134. O lócus do estudo foi a
Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC).
Os sujeitos foram graduandas de Enfermagem,
do sexto ao décimo semestre conforme critérios
de inclusão. Os dados foram coletados através
de entrevista semiestruturada e a análise
realizou-se pelo método de análise de conteúdo
temática proposto por Bardin. Evidenciou-se
que há uma insuficiência de conhecimentos das
graduandas de Enfermagem acerca da violência
contra mulher, que restringem seu conceito às
tipificações. Além disso, essas graduandas
são expostas rotineiramente a situações
de violência física, psicológica, de gênero,
assédio sexual e moral. Isso é consequência
das relações de gênero e poder naturalizadas,
que atuam como força motriz da violência no
ambiente acadêmico, contribuindo para sua
invisibilidade. Conclui-se que é importante
criar espaços de discussão sobre a violência
contra a mulher, especialmente no ambiente
universitário, de modo a contribuir com a
formação de enfermeira(o)s que respeitem os
direitos das mulheres

Abstract:
Violence against women refers to
any aggressive act, physically or verbal, based
on gender, that happens or has the possibility
of causing death or physical, psychological or
sexual suffering, in the public or private spheres.
The research established as a general objective:
to analyze the perception of females nursing
students about violence against women suffered
at university. It is a qualitative, descriptive and
exploratory study approved by State University

of Santa Cruz Ethics Committee on Research on report nº 2.381.134. The locus of
the study was the State University of Santa Cruz. The subjects were females Nursing
graduates, between the sixth and the tenth period according to inclusion criteria. The
data were collected through a semistructured interview and the review was done using
the thematic content analysis method suggested by Bardin. It has been shown that the
female nursing undergraduates don’t have enough knowledge about violence against
women, restricting the concept to typifications. In addition, these students are routinely
exposed to situations of physical, psychological, and gender violence, also sexual and
moral harassment. This is a consequence of naturalized gender and power relations,
which act as driving force to violence in the university, contributing to your invisibility.
Concludes that it’s important to create spaces of discussion about violence against
woman, especially at university, to contribute to the development of nurses who respect
women’s rights.
