PERCEPÇÕES DA VIOLÊNCIA NO AMBIENTE DE TRABALHO ENTRE TRAVESTIS PROSTITUTAS
Historicamente a travesti sempre foi marginalizada no contexto social e laboral, sendo a prostituição uma das poucas opções para inserção dessas no mundo do trabalho. Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar dados sociodemográficos e situações de violências entre travestis profissionais do sexo. Estudo quantitativo descritivo realizado com uma amostra de 46 travestis profissionais do sexo. Resultados mostraram 84,4% se declaram solteiras, 41,3% são da etnia parda, e somente 34,8% tem ensino médio completo. A média de idade é de 24 anos. Quanto a violência, 30 participantes (65,2%) relatam ter sofrido ou recebido violência do tipo verbal em seu ambiente de trabalho, 11 (23,9%) já sofreram violência sexual em seu ambiente de trabalho, e, apenas 10 (21,7%) das entrevistadas afirmam que já fizeram algum tipo de denúncia sobre a violência que tenha recebido; uma média de 23 (valor p= 0,028) anos das travestis que sofreram violência sexual no ambiente de trabalho e a idade média das que fizeram denúncia sobre algum tipo de violência é de 21,4 anos (valor p= 0,016). Mostra-se necessário que homens e mulheres cis devam assumir o papel de espectador e colaborador para as demandas necessárias para essa população.

Abstract:
Historically, transvestites have always been marginalized in the social and labor context, with prostitution being one of the few options for their insertion in the world of work. This study aims to evaluate sociodemographic data and situations of violence among transvestite sex workers. Descriptive quantitative study conducted with a sample of 46 transvestites sex workers. Results showed 84.4% said they were single, 41.3% are of mixed race, and only 34.8% have completed high school. The average age is 24 years. As for violence, 30 participants (65.2%) report having suffered or received verbal violence in their work environment, 11 (23.9%) have already experienced sexual violence in their work environment, and only 10 (21 , 7%) of the interviewees state that they have already made some type of complaint about the violence they have received; an average of 23 (p-value = 0.028) years for transvestites who suffered sexual violence in the workplace and the average age of those who made complaints about some type of violence is 21.4 years (p-value = 0.016). It is necessary that cis men and women should assume the role of spectator and collaborator for the necessary demands for this population.
