PERCEPÇÕES DA PAISAGEM URBANA: OLHARES CONCEITUALMENTE QUALIFICADOS SOBRE A CIDADE DO RIO DE JANEIRO
Este trabalho consiste em uma
prática pedagógica realizada fora do ambiente
escolar que buscou a articulação entre conceitos
tradicionalmente estudados no âmbito da
Geografia Urbana e o desenvolvimento da
habilidade de observação e leitura da paisagem,
objetivando-se contribuir, assim, para a
transformação de temas da vida em meios para
a compreensão do mundo. A concepção de que
a paisagem é portadora de sentidos oriundos da
lógica estruturante da sociedade norteou uma
proposta de atividade que foi posta em prática
fora do espaço da sala de aula e consistiu no
registro em fotografias de imagens de paisagens
urbanas que fizessem parte do cotidiano de
cada aluno e que fossem representativas de
algumas dinâmicas socioespaciais previamente
estabelecidas. A qualidade do conjunto de todos
os trabalhos apresentados, então, representou
um forte indício de que os conteúdos
programáticos relativos ao estudo da dinâmica
interna do espaço urbano de uma metrópole,
de alguma forma, foram redescobertos pelos
alunos, permitindo a ressignificação ao espaço
vivido.

Abstract:
This work consists of a
pedagogical practice carried out outside the
school environment that sought the articulation
between concepts traditionally studied in
the context of Urban Geography and the
development of the observation and reading
skills of the landscape, thus aiming to contribute
to the transformation of themes of life in ways
to understanding the world. The conception that
the landscape is the bearer of meanings arising
from the structuring logic of society guided
an activity proposal that was put into practice
outside the classroom space and consisted of
the recording in photographs of images of urban
landscapes that were part of everyday life. each
student and that were representative of some
previously established socio-spatial dynamics.
The quality of all the works presented, then,
represented a strong indication that the syllabus
related to the study of the internal dynamics of
the urban space of a metropolis was somehow
rediscovered by the students, allowing the
resignification of the lived space.
