Abstract: In 2019, in Wuhan, China, a contagious disease caused by SARS-Cov-2 was detected, which affects the respiratory system. Given the increase in cases and deaths in the world, vaccines were created to combat the disease and reduce its effects when getting sick. Objective: Describe the perception of the population about the vaccines applied in Mexico to combat COVID 19. Material and methods: Observational descriptive study with a mixed cross-sectional approach, which included 68 participants, who were interviewed through a questionnaire. from Google Forms. Results: The questionnaire was applied to 68 participants, of whom 41.2% are men and 58.8% women, with an age range of 15 to 66 years and an average of 26.3 years. Most of the sample has a bachelor's degree (55.9%). 98.5% of those surveyed are vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 67.6% have received the 3 doses and the predominant vaccine brand in the 3 doses was AstraZeneca, which caused the greatest symptoms, among the most frequent symptoms are fever, headache, asthenia, myalgia and chills. In general, people consider that vaccines are good, but 41.2% indicate that there is not enough information about the disease and the vaccines applied. Conclusions: The perception is positive regarding the care and information received, but some consider that the distribution of vaccines is not adequate, leaving many people vulnerable to the disease.
