PERCEPÇÃO DOS ENFERMEIROS QUANTO AO PROTOCOLO DE HIPOTERMIA TERAPÊUTICA PÓS PARADA CARDIOPULMONAR
Objetivo: Analisar a percepção dos enfermeiros quanto ao emprego da hipotermia terapêutica em pacientes reanimados pós-PCR nas UTIs. Metodologia: Pesquisa de caráter exploratório, descritivo, de abordagem qualiquantitativa, desenvolvida em dezembro/2017, num hospital de referência do Recife/PE. Sendo considerados os questionários dos Enfermeiros que trabalham na UTI do hospital referido, e que aceitaram participar da pesquisa voluntariamente. Resultados: Entrevistados 18 enfermeiros, predominando: faixa etária de 24 e 34 anos; sexo feminino; de maior formação a especialização em emergência; atuantes na área de saúde entre 4 - 6 anos. Com maioria afirmando ter conhecimento sobre a técnica de Hipotermia Terapêutica pós-PCR. Sobre a temperatura limite a ser empregada, 37% disseram ser entre 32°C - 34°C; quanto ao tempo inicial para aplicação da técnica após o retorno da circulação espontânea, 55% afirmam ser, 1 hora; 54% dizem ser a proteção neurológica o principal objetivo da terapêutica; 64% afirmam que todos os pacientes sobreviventes pós-PCR, que permaneçam comatosos após a reanimação, independente do ritmo da PCR e do local onde ocorreu o evento, podem ser induzidos à hipotermia terapêutica. Conclusão: Percebeu-se que, os enfermeiros não têm conhecimento do emprego da técnica referida, por não ser rotina do setor, nem uma prática utilizada no hospital, e desconhecem a existência da mesma. Nota-se a necessidade de um maior número de publicações e cursos, capacitando e norteando os profissionais, e serviços de saúde envolvidos no processo, e a construção de um protocolo, instrumento que ampara os profissionais e oferece segurança aos pacientes e familiares.

Abstract:
Objective: To analyze nurses' perceptions regarding the use of therapeutic hypothermia in patients resuscitated after CRP in ICUs. Methodology: Exploratory, descriptive and qualitative research, conducted in December / 2017, in a referral hospital in Recife / PE. Being considered the questionnaires of nurses working in the ICU of the referred hospital, and who agreed to participate in the research voluntarily. Results: Interviewed 18 nurses, predominating: age group of 24 and 34 years old; women; from greater training to emergency specialization; active in the health area between 4 - 6 years. With majority claiming to have knowledge about the technique of post-PCR Therapeutic Hypothermia. About the temperature limit to be employed, 37% said to be between 32 ° C - 34 ° C; Regarding the initial time for application of the technique after the return of spontaneous circulation, 55% claim to be 1 hour; 54% say neurological protection is the main goal of therapy; 64% state that all post-CRP surviving patients who remain comatose after resuscitation, regardless of the rate of CRP and where the event occurred, can be induced to therapeutic hypothermia. Conclusion: It was noticed that nurses are not aware of the use of the referred technique, as it is not a routine of the sector, nor a practice used in the hospital, and are unaware of its existence. There is a need for more publications and courses, training and guiding the professionals and health services involved in the process, and the construction of a protocol, an instrument that supports the professionals and offers security to patients and families.
