PERCEPÇÃO DO ACADÊMICO DE MEDICINA EM AÇÕES DE UM PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO COMO POTENCIALIZADORA DA PROMOÇÃO E PREVENÇÃO À SAÚDE
O projeto de extensão e pesquisa
permite uma relação entre instituição e
sociedade através da troca de conhecimentos
e experiências entre professores, alunos
e população, pela possibilidade de
desenvolvimento de processos de ensinoaprendizagem,
a partir de práticas cotidianas
associadas ao ensino e pesquisa, por meio
da transmissão de informação à população
sobre os riscos à saúde a que estão expostos,
incentivando a prevenção, a detecção precoce
de doenças e o desenvolvimento do autocuidado.
O artigo consiste de um relato de experiência
vivenciado no Projeto de Pesquisa e Extensão
PAS mulher que se deu nos municípios de
Cabedelo e João Pessoa no estado da Paraíba,
nos anos de 2017 e 2018. A vivência foi realizada
por meio de três ações educativas com ênfase
na atenção integral à saúde da mulher em
todas as suas fases. A primeira ação aconteceu
em uma unidade de saúde em João Pessoa
– PB, cujo tema abordado foi a campanha
Outubro Rosa, a segunda ação ocorreu em
praça pública na cidade de Cabedelo- PB, na
comemoração ao dia da mulher, com tema de
“Diga não à violência contra a mulher”, por fim,
a terceira ocorreu em uma escola estadual
de Cabedelo-PB com a temática métodos
contraceptivos. Ressalta-se a importância dos
acadêmicos terem conhecido a realidade e os
anseios da população feminina nos municípios
visitados, possibilitando promoção e prevenção
à saúde da mulher, contribuindo ainda para o
desenvolvimento de vertentes indispensáveis
para atuação profissional dos acadêmicos em
formação, como a empatia e a humanização.

Abstract:
The extension and research
project allows a relationship between institution
and society through the exchange of knowledge
and experiences among teachers, students
and population, for the possibility of developing
teaching-learning processes, based on daily practices associated with teaching and
research , through the transmission of information to the population about the health
risks to which they are exposed, encouraging prevention, the early detection of diseases
and the development of self-care. The article consists of an experience report in the
Research and Extension Project PAS that ocurred in the municipalities of Cabedelo
and João Pessoa in the state of Paraíba, in the years 2017 and 2018. The experience
was carried out through three educational actions with emphasis on comprehensive
health care for women at all stages. The first action happened in a health unit in João
Pessoa - PB, whose theme was the October pink campaign, the second action took
place in a public square in the city of Cabedelo-PB, in commemoration of the women’s
day, with theme of “Tell no to violence against women”, finally, the third occurred in a
state school in Cabedelo-PB with the theme contraceptive methods. It is important to
emphasize the importance of the academics have known the reality and the wishes of
the female population in the municipalities visited, making possible the promotion and
prevention of women’s health, contributing also to the development of indispensable
aspects for the professional performance of the students in training, such as empathy
and humanization.
