PERCEPÇÃO DE PROFISSIONAIS DA EQUIPE MULTIPROFISSIONAL DE SAÚDE ACERCA DO TRABALHO DO PSICÓLOGO NO HOSPITAL
O estudo visou conhecer a
percepção de profissionais atuantes em equipes
multiprofissionais de um Hospital Universitário
sobre o trabalho dos psicólogos inseridos
nestas referidas equipes. A literatura científica
sobre o tema indica o desconhecimento acerca
da atuação dos psicólogos no hospital, tendo
em vista a recente inserção desta categoria
profissional na área da saúde, o que, aliada à
percepção pessoal das pesquisadoras autoras
do presente estudo, pautada no contexto
de suas atuações profissionais, motivou o
desenvolvimento do estudo. Tendo isso em
vista, foi realizado um estudo de caráter
exploratório com abordagem qualitativa e
emprego da técnica de análise de conteúdo,
envolvendo a participação de seis profissionais
de seis diferentes áreas de formação, sendo
estas: enfermagem, farmácia, fisioterapia,
medicina, nutrição e serviço social. Os
achados indicaram, dentre outros elementos, o
reconhecimento da necessidade da atuação do
psicólogo na realidade hospitalar e certo avanço
em relação ao conhecimento de seu contexto e
importância da atuação. Embora trate-se de um
estudo com limitações amostrais, os conteúdos
incitam reflexões quem possam contribuir para
o avanço do reconhecimento da atuação dos
psicólogos, indicam e fomentam a necessidade
de ampliação tanto do estudo teórico, quanto
da prática da psicologia no ambiente hospitalar.

Abstract:
The study aimed to know
the perception of professionals working in
multiprofessional teams of a University Hospital
on the work of the psychologists inserted in
these referred teams. The scientific literature
on the subject indicates the lack of knowledge
about the performance of psychologists in the
hospital, considering the recent insertion of this
professional category in the health area, which,
together with the personal perception of the
researchers of the present study, based on the
context of their professional activities, motivated
the development of the study. Based on this, an
exploratory study with a qualitative approach
and use of the content analysis technique was
carried out, involving the participation of six
professionals from six different areas of training: nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy,
medicine, nutrition and service Social. The findings indicated, among other elements,
the recognition of the need of the psychologist ‘s performance in the hospital reality
and some progress in relation to the knowledge of its context and importance of the
performance. Although it is a study with sample limitations, the contents stimulate
reflections that can contribute to the advancement of the recognition of the performance
of psychologists, indicate and foster the need to expand both the theoretical study and
the practice of psychology in the hospital environment.
