PERCEPÇÃO DE GESTORES DO ENSINO MÉDIO SOBRE A IMPORTÂNCIA DA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA ESCOLAR EM ESCOLAS DA CIDADE DE FORTALEZA
Com a criação da Medida Provisória
(MP) n° 746/2016, surgiu a possibilidade da não
obrigatoriedade da Educação Física no Ensino
Médio das escolas brasileiras. Diante disto,
buscou-se através de um estudo realizado por
meio de pesquisa de campo exploratória e de
caráter transversal e quantitativo, analisar a
percepção de gestores do ensino médio sobre a
importância desse componente curricular como
colaborador na formação integral dos alunos,
explorando temas como aumento de aulas
teóricas e o tempo das aulas como fator de
benefício para a saúde. Realizado no Município
de Fortaleza – CE, em vinte e cinco escolas
regulares e profissionalizantes, pertencentes
a Secretária Executiva Regional I com uma
amostra de 25 gestores, no período de agosto
a setembro de 2018. Através de questionário
estruturado, submetido ao Comitê de Ética do
Centro Universitário do Ceará – Estácio FIC
de nº 0422929/2018. Verificou-se que 96% dos
gestores concordam que a Educação Física
tem um papel importante na escola e que uma
maior quantidade de conteúdos teóricos poderá
auxiliar no desempenho no Exame Nacional do
Ensino Médio e em outros exames. Portanto,
nota-se que na percepção dos gestores
pesquisados, a Educação Física se apresenta
como um componente necessário nas escolas
de Ensino Médio.

Abstract:
With the creation of Provisional Measure (MP) n ° 746/2016, the possibility
of non-compulsory Physical Education in the Brazilian High Schools arose. Therefore,
a study carried out by means of exploratory field research and of a transversal
and quantitative character was carried out, analyzing the perception of high school
managers about the importance of this curricular component as a collaborator in the
integral formation of the students, exploring themes such as increase of theoretical
classes and class time as a health benefit factor. Held in the Municipality of Fortaleza
- CE, in twenty-five regular and professional schools, belonging to Regional Executive
Secretary I with a sample of 25 managers, from August to September 2018. A structured
questionnaire was submitted to the Ethics Committee of the University of Ceará -
Estácio FIC of nº 0422929/2018. It was verified that 96% of the managers agree that
Physical Education plays an important role in the school and that a greater amount of
theoretical contents can aid in the performance in the National High School Exam and
other exams. Therefore, it should be noted that in the perception of the researched
managers, Physical Education presents itself as a necessary component in secondary
schools.
