PERCEPÇÃO DE ALUNOS DO ENSINO MÉDIO DE LUZIÂNIA SOBRE A PANDEMIA DO COVID -19
A pandemia de COVID-19, que se iniciou no ano de 2020, causou um grande impacto em todo o mundo. Foi um momento em que por um período todos tivemos nossas vidas abruptamente transformadas, muitas de nossas atividades foram interrompidas enquanto ainda precisávamos lidar com medo, incertezas, e informações falsas que circulavam sobre a doença. As escolas em seu papel de ensino e formação de cidadãos, devem compreender como esse período foi vivenciado pelos seus alunos. Entender essa realidade será muito importante para que as instituições de educação se preparem para auxiliá-los a lidarem com as consequências e sequelas do que viveram, e os prepararem para possíveis situações semelhantes que eles ainda possam enfrentar no futuro. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar quais foram as percepções e experiências que os alunos de um Colégio de Ensino Médio em Luziânia-GO tiveram durante a pandemia. Para tal fim foram respondidos 63 questionários com 10 perguntas abertas, que foram analisadas qualitativamente. Percebeu-se que a grande maioria tem uma noção básica sobre o conceito da doença e seus protocolos de segurança. Mas poucos souberam falar sobre qual o tratamento adequado para pessoas infectadas. Para adquirir conhecimento sobre a COVID-19 os meios mais utilizados pelos participantes foram Televisão (81%) e Redes Sociais (71,4%). Uma parcela considerável de 31,7% disse que os conhecimentos obtidos na escola não os ajudaram a enfrentar a pandemia. Mais da metade (52,4%) não buscava averiguar a veracidade das informações que recebia. Evidencia-se a necessidade de investir mais no letramento científico para que os estudantes de ensino médio saibam buscar e averiguar informações sobre doenças e outros temas que sejam relevantes em suas vidas. Muitos também citaram como a suas vidas foram afetadas de diferentes formas pela pandemia, principalmente de forma negativa na área dos estudos.

Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic, which began in the year 2020, caused a great impact around the world. It was a time when for a period we all had our lives abruptly transformed, many of our activities were interrupted while we still had to deal with fear, uncertainty, and false information that circulated about the disease. Schools, in their role of teaching and training citizens, must understand how this period was experienced by their students. Understanding this reality will be very important for education institutions to prepare to help them deal with the consequences and sequelae of what they have experienced, and prepare them for possible similar situations that they may still face in the future. The present study aimed to analyze what were the perceptions and experiences that students of a High School in Luziânia-GO had during the pandemic. To this end, 63 questionnaires were answered with 10 open questions, which were qualitatively analyzed. It was noticed that the vast majority have a basic notion about the concept of the disease and its safety protocols. But few knew how to talk about the appropriate treatment for infected people. To acquire knowledge about COVID-19, the most used means by participants were Television (81%) and Social Networks (71.4%). A considerable portion of 31.7% said that the knowledge obtained at school did not help them to face the pandemic. More than half (52.4%) did not seek to verify the veracity of the information they received. It is evident the need to invest more in scientific literacy so that high school students know how to seek and find information about diseases and other topics that are relevant in their lives. Many also cited how their lives were affected in different ways by the pandemic, especially in a negative way in the area of studies.
