Abstract: This report describes an educational action at a municipal school in Curitiba/PR, focused on raising children's awareness about dengue. The action was part of the curricularization of extension (ACEx) and involved students who visited a UBS to identify risk factors, such as garbage accumulation and standing water. The intervention with 2nd-grade children included interactive presentations about the disease, playful activities, and participation of a person dressed as the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The experience showed the positive impact of involving children in health promotion and disease prevention.
