Abstract: Enzymatic peeling is correlated with the use of natural ingredients, always seeking to maintain the sustainability of the product and, consequently, making it a biocosmetic. What makes it natural is the use of proteolytic enzymes, such as those present in papaya, resulting in a less intensive and aggressive treatment. This process leads to the removal of the skin in the stratum corneum and, consequently, to the uniformity of melasma, reducing the amount of hyperpigmentation, leaving the skin clearer and more uniform. In this way, peeling can be an effective treatment for different skin tones, including black skin, which has a higher amount of melanin, some complication can occur if you do not follow the procedure correctly.
