Abstract: This research analyzes the pedagogy of love and tenderness as a humanizing educational approach aimed at the integral development of children and adolescents, emphasizing the importance of affectivity within educational processes. From a symbolic-interpretative paradigm and through a documentary review of twenty scientific studies, the research demonstrates that pedagogical practices based on care, recognition, and empathy strengthen essential dimensions such as self-esteem, emotional regulation, autonomy, and identity construction. The findings reveal that this approach transcends traditional teaching focused exclusively on academic content by understanding education as an ethical and relational experience grounded in affective bonds and safe learning environments. Likewise, a growing academic interest was identified in Latin America, particularly in countries such as Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia, where the pedagogy of love and tenderness emerges as a response to processes of educational dehumanization and socio-emotional issues intensified in post-pandemic contexts. Finally, the study concludes that affective pedagogy not only improves emotional well-being and academic performance, but also constitutes a transformative strategy capable of promoting coexistence, inclusion, and integral formation within diverse educational and community settings.
