PAUTA INTERÉTNICA NO CONTEXTO DA TV PÚBLICA: ANÁLISE DA TEMÁTICA INDÍGENA NA TVE-TO-BRASIL
Pela natureza da sua proposta, esta investigação parte do princípio de que a TV pública, na sua missão e visão, como instituição política e social, deve ter na sua diretriz, o compromisso com pautas de relevância pública para o conjunto da sociedade, contemplando as diferenças sociais e a diversidade cultural, de cunho étnico-racial, que demonstrem “[...]‘compreensão multicultural’ da nossa sociedade pluralista (Blumler; Hoffman-Rien, 1993 apud Brandão, 2004, p. 24-25). Com esse objetivo, procedemos à análise da cobertura da temática indígena, do período dos Jogos dos Povos Mundiais Indígenas (outubro/2015) ao Dia do Índio (19/04/2016), pela Televisão Educativa TVE do estado do Tocantins, localizado na região Norte do Brasil. Mediante a seguinte configuração geopolítica, estão constituídos os territórios étnicos dos Akwe-Xerente, Mehin-Krahó, Pahin-Apinajé, Iny-Javaé, Karajá-Xambioá e os Krahó-Kanela, cujos povos indígenas falam diferentes línguas e expressam singulares sistemas sócio-cosmológicos. (Demarchi;Morais, 2015:38) De treze reportagens transcritas, apresentamos a análise de três delas; cujos temas foram 1) Apresentação Cultural, 2) Manifesto indígena contra a PEC 215 durante os Jogos Mundiais dos Povos Indígenas e 3) a III Assembleia dos Povos Indígenas de GO e do TO.

Abstract:
Due to the nature of its proposal, this investigation is based on the principle that public TV, in its mission and vision, as a political and social institution, must have in its guideline, a commitment to guidelines of public relevance for society as a whole, contemplating the social differences and cultural diversity, ethnic-racial in nature, that demonstrate “[...] 'multicultural understanding' of our pluralistic society (Blumler; Hoffman-Rien, 1993 apud Brandão, 2004, p. 24-25). With this objective, we proceeded to the analysis of the coverage of the indigenous theme, from the period of the Games of the World Indigenous Peoples (October / 2015) to the Day of the Indian (19/04/2016), by TVE Educational Television of the state of Tocantins, located in the region Northern Brazil. Through the following geopolitical configuration, the ethnic territories of the Akwe-Xerente, Mehin-Krahó, Pahin-Apinajé, Iny-Javaé, Karajá-Xambioá and the Krahó-Kanela are constituted, whose indigenous peoples speak different languages and express unique socio-cosmological systems . (Demarchi; Morais, 2015: 38) From thirteen transcribed reports, we present the analysis of three of them; whose themes were 1) Cultural Presentation, 2) Indigenous Manifesto against PEC 215 during the World Indigenous Peoples Games and 3) the III Assembly of Indigenous Peoples of GO and TO.
