PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL: DO TOMBAMENTO À RESTAURAÇÃO
Este estudo tem como foco
a contribuição para a discussão sobre a
valorização e o aprofundamento do debate a
respeito das questões teóricas do patrimônio e
complexidade das práticas preservacionistas,
enquanto investiga as relações da história com
o tombamento e as intervenções de restauro,
através da apresentação de trajetórias e
das definições de conceitos para direcionar
reflexões sobre a consciência do patrimônio
também como um direito social de preservação
à memória. Não se trata somente de discutir as
teorias, mas também problematizar os discursos
e práticas e evidenciar a importância das trocas
recíprocas entre eles para que o patrimônio
seja respeitado e valorizado, principalmente por
não haver verdades definitivas nesse campo.
Nesse contexto, destacará a cronologia e a
documentação em seu papel essencial como
fio condutor da história; o passado impresso
nos documentos/monumentos traz consigo o
horizonte do futuro, visto que parte importante
desses documentos ainda está por se descobrir
e enriquecer-se, sendo inegável a constatação
do presente no processo em questão,
responsável por dar nova vida ao objeto no
momento de novas leituras.

Abstract:
This study focuses on the
contribution to the discussion about the
appreciation and deepening of the debate on
the theoretical issues of patrimony and the
complexity of preservationist practices, while
investigating the relations of history with the
heritage and restoration interventions, through
presentation of trajectories and definitions
of concepts to direct reflections on the
consciousness of heritage as a social right of
preservation of memory. It is not only a matter of
discussing theories, but also of problematizing
discourses and practices and highlighting the
importance of reciprocal exchanges between
them so that heritage is respected and valued,
especially because there are no definitive truths
in this field. In this context, it will highlight the
chronology and documentation in their essential
role as the guiding thread of history; the past
printed in the documents / monuments brings
with it the horizon of the future, since an
important part of these documents is yet to be
discovered and enriched, being undeniable
the perception of the present in the process in
question, responsible for giving new life to the
object at the moment of new readings.
