PARTICIPAÇÃO FEMININA NAS MANIFESTAÇÕES CULTURAIS DO MUNICÍPIO DE VALENTE
Este artigo aborda a inserção de
mulheres nas manifestações culturais no
município de Valente, Bahia, por meio de suas
participações em grupos de cantigas de roda e
de produção, reisado e samba de roda. Foram
realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com as
mulheres participantes desses grupos, assim
como com pessoas envolvidas ativamente na
cultura no município, como representantes de
cultura no território e secretária de cultura local.
Os resultados do trabalho de campo revelam
como motivação para participação feminina nos
grupos o sentimento de pertencimento, assim
como uma forma de enfrentamento de situações
dificies do cotianoassim como superação das
mesmas. Além disso, as narrativas femininas
destacam a realização pessoal, melhora na
autoestima dentre outros sentimentos positivos
que incentivam a participação das mesmas e
legitimam a importância da inserção na cultura.

Abstract:
This article approaches the
insertion of women in the cultural manifestations
in the city of Valente, Bahia, through their
participation in groups of songs of roda and of
production, reisado and samba de roda. Semistructured
interviews were conducted with the
women participating in these groups, as well as
with people actively involved in the culture in
the municipality, as representatives of culture in
the territory and secretary of local culture. The
results of the fieldwork reveal as motivation for
female participation in the groups the feeling
of belonging, as well as a way of coping with
difficult situations of cotiano as an overcoming
of them. In addition, the female narratives
emphasize personal fulfillment, improvement in
self-esteem among other positive feelings that
encourage their participation and legitimize the
importance of insertion into culture.
