PARADOXOS, RISCOS E REQUISITOS DA NOVA MATRIZ DE ENERGIA ELÉTRICA BRASILEIRA
O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma “radiografia” da nova Matriz de Energia Elétrica, agora com a presença crescente das novas renováveis, juntamente com a inflexibilidade significativa da geração a fio d’água das grandes usinas da Amazônia, trazendo as razões pelas quais as avaliações de médio prazo, embora de forma consistente com o Equilíbrio Estrutural postulado pelo Conselho Nacional de Política Energética – CNPE (Resolução CNPE 01/2004) e pelo modelo mercantil vigente (100% da carga estimada de cada distribuidora deve estar contratada no horizonte de cinco anos), apresentam resultados de desempenho muitas vezes preocupantes e porque não dizer paradoxais.

Abstract:
This paper presents an overview of the new Brazilian Electric Matrix, considering the increase in new renewables with the significant inflexibility of the large run-of-river power plants in the Amazon. In addition, this paper explains why the medium-term energy evaluations doesn’t always perform well, despite being consistent with the Structural Balance postulated by the National Energy Policy Council - CNPE (Resolution CNPE 01/2004) and the current commercial model (100% of the estimated load of each distributor must be covered in a five-year contract). This behavior is worrying and paradoxical.
