Abstract: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNAs that play a critical role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. They are involved in various cellular processes and have a significant impact on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Altered miRNA expression can influence the activity of key genes associated with neuroinflammation, cell death, autophagy, and other pathways relevant to these conditions. These features highlight miRNAs as promising biomarkers for early diagnosis and potential therapeutic targets, contributing to the development of more effective strategies against neurodegenerative diseases.
