PAPEL DO ENFERMEIRO NO PROCESSO DE IMPLEMENTACAO DO PROTOCOLO DE MANCHESTER NAS EMERGENCIAS BRASILEIRAS
Introdução: A lei orgânica do Sistema Único de Saúde-SUS diz que a assistência de saúde deve ser pautada nas diretrizes da universalidade, igualdade e equidade, no tocante à hierarquização dos atendimentos. Assim, diversas estratégias vêm sendo utilizadas como forma de fornecer qualidade e acolhimento no atendimento. Um desses instrumentos é o Protocolo de Manchester, que consiste em uma espécie de sistema de triagem baseada em classificação de riscos de agravos do paciente por cores, Tal protocolo foi pensando diante da necessidade de se discutir melhores de formas de atendimento na saúde, minimizando os problemas de lotação nas unidades de emergência e favorecendo um diagnóstico inicial do paciente. Objetivo: identificar qual é o papel do enfermeiro no processo de implementação do Protocolo de Manchester nas emergências brasileiras de 2015 a 2019. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com base na investigação e análise dos artigos científicos na base de dados do LILACS BDENF e MEDLINE a partir do estabelecimento de hipóteses, do estudo da literatura, da avaliação dos estudos e fichamento. Resultados e Discussão: após a leitura e análise dos artigos selecionados, conferiu-se a importância que o Protocolo de Manchester possui nas emergências facilitando a atuação da equipe de saúde que através do enfermeiro cumpre seu papel no atendimento e demanda. Conclusão: conclui-se, portanto, que para implementação do Protocolo de Manchester nas emergências é preciso a construção e aperfeiçoamento dos mecanismos de controle e gestão dos riscos por parte da equipe de enfermagem, que também deverá estar capacitada ao atendimento imediato dessas pessoas, facilitando o reconhecimento dos agravos de saúde e encaminhando aos procedimentos adequados, sem que o paciente seja submetido a espera.

Abstract:
Introduction: The organic law of the Unified Health System-SUS says that health care must be guided by the guidelines of universality, equality and equity, with regard to the hierarchy of care. Thus, several strategies have been used as a way to provide quality and care. One of these instruments is the Manchester Protocol, which consists of a sort of triage system based on the classification of the risks of diseases of the patient by color. Such a protocol was thinking about the need to discuss better ways of health care, minimizing the capacity problems in the emergency units and favoring an initial diagnosis of the patient. Objective: to identify the role of nurses in the process of implementing the Manchester Protocol in Brazilian emergencies from 2015 to 2019. Method: this is an integrative review based on the investigation and analysis of scientific articles in the LILACS BDENF database and MEDLINE based on the establishment of hypotheses, the study of literature, the evaluation of studies and records. Results and Discussion: after reading and analyzing the selected articles, the importance of the Manchester Protocol in emergencies was verified, facilitating the performance of the health team that, through nurses, fulfills its role in care and demand. Conclusion: it is concluded, therefore, that the implementation of the Manchester Protocol in emergencies requires the construction and improvement of mechanisms for control and risk management by the nursing team, which should also be able to provide immediate assistance to these people, facilitating the recognition of health problems and referral to appropriate procedures, without the patient being subjected to waiting.
