PANORAMA DOS FATORES RELACIONADOS À OCORRÊNCIA DO ÓBITO FETAL: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

• Abstract: Objective: To analyze the risk factors related to the occurrence of fetal death. Method: This is an integrative literature review, seeking to answer the research question: What are the risk factors related to the occurrence of fetal death?. Data collection was carried out in December 2021, through searches in four electronic databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Web of Science, Scopus, and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE). Results: The initial search resulted in 1,635 publications and, after applying the eligibility criteria, 166 studies comprised the final corpus. Risk factors were categorized into four classes: socioeconomic factors; previous conditions; fetal conditions; and conditions of the current pregnancy. Conclusion: the listed categories endorse that risk factors can come from different sources besides pathologies, and even considering the contexts that occurred, they can be prevented.
