PANORAMA DA EVASÃO E PERMANÊNCIA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR NO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE RONDÔNIA – PORTO VELHO ZONA NORTE
Este artigo apresenta uma análise das razões de permanência e evasão dos alunos do Curso Superior em Gestão Pública do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia (IFRO), Campus Porto Velho Zona Norte. A coleta de dados foi baseada em métodos qualitativos e utilização de questionário estruturado com questões abertas e fechadas. A população investigada foi composta de aproximadamente 180 acadêmicos matriculados e frequentes no ano de 2016 e a amostra mínima (n) em função do erro (e) foi constituída por 80 (oitenta) alunos, onde se utilizou o erro amostral de 10% e percentual estimado de 0,5. Utilizamos o software Sphinx Léxica que compreende a realização de pesquisas em todas as suas etapas: concepção e edição do questionário, entrada das respostas e apuração e análise estatística (tabulações simples e cruzadas). Com os resultados da pesquisa conclui-se que é necessário realizar um trabalho especial com o aluno, efetivando um acompanhamento mensal, onde a equipe pedagógica e o corpo docente trabalhem em conjunto, observando o comportamento do mesmo, realizando um levantamento com o intuito de reunir informações para encontrar soluções práticas, e, voltando uma atenção especial quando houver queda na assiduidade nas aulas, objetivando erradicar este crescente problema no processo educacional. Acreditase ainda que a gestão do IFRO tem que se mobilizar para construir um caminho sólido para o fortalecimento do aluno no curso, utilizando mecanismos de comunicação, dinâmicas e entrevistas individualizadas para a instituição prosseguir no caminho da educação eficiente e eficaz.

Abstract:
This article presents an analysis of the permanence reasons and evasion of the pupils of the Superior Course in Public administration of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO), Campus Porto Velho Zona Norte. Data collection was based on qualitative methods and the use of a structured questionnaire with open and closed questions. The research population was composed of approximately 180 students enrolled and frequent in 2016 and the minimum sample (n) due to error (e) was composed of 80 (eighty) students, where the sampling error of 10% and an estimated percentage of 0.5 were used. We use the Sphinx Léxica software that includes research in all its stages: design and edition of the questionnaire, input of the answers and calculation and statistical analysis (simple and cross tabulations). With the results of the research it is concluded that it is necessary to perform a special work with the student, carrying out a monthly monitoring, where the pedagogical team and the faculty work together, observing the behavior of the same, performing a survey with the purpose of gathering information to find practical solutions, and paying special attention when there is a drop in attendance in classes, aiming to eradicate this growing problem in the educational process. It is also believed that IFRO management has to mobilize to build a solid path for student empowerment in the course, using communication mechanisms, dynamics and individualized interviews for the institution to continue on the path of efficient and effective education
