PANDEMIA E A QUESTÃO DE GÊNERO: QUEM SÃO AS PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE NA LINHA DE FRENTE DA PANDEMIA EM BOM JESUS DO ITABAPOANA, RJ?
O presente capítulo traz como base empírica reflexões parciais da dissertação de mestrado que realizamos com as profissionais de saúde que atuam na linha e frente da pandemia da Covid-19. De modo a relatar as percepções e narrativas frente a compreensão dos enfrentamentos da pandemia, iremos descrever o ocorrido no Hospital São Vicente de Paulo, localizado no município de Bom Jesus de Itabapoana, estado do Rio de Janeiro. Os protagonistas das nossas análises são as profissionais de saúde plantonistas. Os caminhos percorridos para a realização deste estudo começaram com a revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema acerca da questão de gênero na medicina e na pandemia. Paralelamente, utilizamos como coleta de dados o questionário online da plataforma Google Forms, com perguntas associadas ao momento que estão vivendo, algumas de livre associação e outras de múltipla escolha, entre os meses de fevereiro e abril de 2021. Identificamos em nossos estudos que se as mulheres são a face da luta na linha de frente da pandemia, evidenciando a feminização da área da saúde, por outro lado, elas são o contingente que mais sofre com o risco de contaminação, com os desgastes da rotina de trabalho diária, com a dupla jornada no trabalho, em casa e com o isolamento físico. Por esse motivo, entende-se a necessidade crescente de pesquisas interdisciplinares sobre gênero nessa perspectiva, ao acentuar desigualdades e percepções sobre a mulher criadas socio-culturalmente.

Abstract:
This chapter brings as an empirical basis partial reflections of the master's thesis that we carried out with health professionals who work on the line and front of the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to report the perceptions and narratives facing the understanding of the confrontations of the pandemic, we will describe what happened at the Hospital São Vicente de Paulo, located in the municipality of Bom Jesus de Itabapoana, state of Rio de Janeiro. The protagonists of our analyzes are the health professionals on duty. The paths taken to carry out this study began with a literature review on the topic about the issue of gender in medicine and in the pandemic. At the same time, we used the online questionnaire on the Google Forms platform as data collection, with questions associated with the moment they are living, some of free association and others of multiple choice, between the months of February and April 2021. We identified in our studies that women are the face of the fight on the front line of the pandemic, showing the feminization of the health area, on the other hand, they are the contingent that suffers the most from the risk of contamination, with the wear and tear of the daily work routine, with the double shift at work, at home and with physical isolation. For this reason, we understand the growing need for interdisciplinary research on gender from this perspective, by accentuating socio-culturally created inequalities and perceptions about women.
