Abstract: During the creative process of children's clothing collections, it is necessary to respect the age-appropriate development of this target audience, encompassing cognitive, motor, emotional, and social aspects. In this sense, the aim of this article is to propose visual panels as tools for fashion designers to apply concepts related to these issues in the creation of children's clothing. The pieces of a children's fashion collection can contribute to development by providing comfort, mobility, and encouraging imagination with vibrant colors, playful patterns, and interactive designs. The technical procedures applied in the research included bibliographic research, focusing mainly on the visual tools of design and fashion methodologies, and, as a fundamental part, on works addressing non-adultized children's fashion. It is concluded through the research that visual panels are facilitators for the creation of non-adultized children's fashion, delineating the conception of products through imagery references of the target audience, brand identity, related and competing brands, and fashion trends.
