Visto que o ramo de curtimento de peles bovinas tem grande ascensão no mercado brasileiro e o mesmo tem potencialidade de causar severos impactos ao meio ambiente, de diversas maneiras, incluso seus efluentes, composto por matéria orgânica e metais pesados, fez se a necessidade de otimizar o tratamento de efluentes, de uma empresa de Presidente Prudente – SÃO PAULO, realizando análises em relação a eficiência de coagulantes na fase primária, etapa física do processo.

Abstract:
Since the beef tanning market has great growth in the brazilian market and has the potential to cause severe impacts to the environment in several ways, including its effluents, composed of organic matter and heavy metals, the need was made to optimize the treatment of effluents, from a company of Presidente Prudente - SÃO PAULO, performing analyses in relation to the efficiency of coagulants in the primary phase, physical stage of the process.
