OTIMIZAÇÃO DA EXTRAÇÃO DO ÓLEO ESSENCIAL DE BAGAS VERDES DE AROEIRA-ROSA, Schinus terebinthifolius RADDI
A pimenta-rosa, Schinus terebinthifolius, é uma planta aromática produtora de óleo essencial (OE) de muito interesse econômico por apresentar potenciais em seu óleo, entre eles, uso medicinal, comercial e agrícola. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste presente trabalho foi verificar se o processo de trituração das bagas verdes dessa espécie pode otimizar a obtenção de maior quantidade de OE. Os dados obtidos durante o processamento nos mostraram que ao triturar as bagas verdes acabou refletindo no maior rendimento do OE dessa parte da planta quando comparado com as extrações que foram utilizadas nas bagas verdes inteiras, otimizando assim o processo de extração.

Abstract:
Pink pepper, Schinus terebinthifolius, is an aromatic plant that produces essential oil (OE) of great economic interest because it has potential in its oil, including medicinal, commercial and agricultural uses. Therefore, the objective of this present article was to verify if the process of crushing the green berries of this species can optimize the obtaining of a greater amount of OE. The data obtained during processing showed us that crushing the green berries ended up reflecting in the higher yield of OE of this part of the plant when compared to the extractions that were used in the whole green berries, thus optimizing the extraction process.
