Os valores sociais e o ensino superior na formação do cidadão
O objetivo do presente estudo
foi objetivo investigar a produção científica
acerca dos valores sociais e do ensino superior
na formação do cidadão. Foi realizada uma
revisão integrativa, realizada nas bases de
dados LILACS e MEDLINE com a associação
dos descritores: valores sociais, estudantes
e participação social. Os critérios de inclusão
foram: artigos disponibilizados; divulgados em
português, inglês e espanhol; e publicados
no período compreendido entre 2007 e 2017.
A coleta de dados foi realizada no período de
junho e julho de 2017. Na busca inicial foram
encontrados 17 artigos, 09 na LILACS e 08
na MEDLINE. Foram excluídos estudos em
duplicidade, em idiomas distintos do definido
e aqueles que, conforme percebido através do
título ou após leitura do resumo, não atendiam
ao tema proposto. Dos 09 artigos lidos na
íntegra, apenas 07 responderam à questão
norteadora e definiram a amostra final. Após
a leitura minuciosa, foi possível organizar o
conteúdo dos artigos selecionados em duas
temáticas: Valor Social; Ensino Superior na
Formação do Cidadão. O nível de evidência
dos estudos aponta para a responsabilidade
social que a universidade tem, além do papel
fundamental de aproximar a realidade social
ao indivíduo, disponibilizando de ambiente
favorável para a construção do sistema de
valores e da cidadania. Conclui-se a escassez
de pesquisas abordando o assunto, apontando
a necessidade de desenvolvimento de mais
estudos que aprofundem a discussão sobre a
temática.

Abstract:
The objective of the present study
was to investigate the scientific production
about social values and higher education in
the formation of the citizen. An integrative review was performed in the LILACS and
MEDLINE databases with the association of descriptors: social values, students and
social participation. The inclusion criteria were: articles made available; disclosed in
Portuguese; and published in the period between 2007 and 2017. Data collection was
performed in June and July 2017. In the initial search, 17 articles were found, 09 in
LILACS and 08 in MEDLINE. Duplication studies were excluded, in languages other
than those defined and those that, as perceived through the title or after reading the
abstract, did not meet the proposed theme. Of the 09 articles read in full, only 07
answered the guiding question and defined the final sample. After a thorough reading,
it was possible to organize the content of selected articles in two themes: Social Value;
Higher Education in Citizen Training. The level of evidence of the studies points to
the social responsibility that the university has, as well as the fundamental role of
approaching the social reality to the individual, providing a favorable environment for
the construction of the value system and citizenship. It is concluded the lack of research
addressing the subject, pointing out the need to develop further studies that deepen the
discussion on the subject.
