OS RUMOS DA PESQUISA EM EDUCAÇÃO NO BRASIL: UM ESTUDO SOBRE O EHPS
A ideia que orientou a produção deste
trabalho foi a necessidade de melhor conhecer
os rumos da produção acadêmica em educação
no EHPS nos últimos quinze anos. O objetivo
central deste trabalho foi realizar o levantamento
de produção de teses e dissertações, cujos
temas estivessem vinculados à didática ou
à prática docente, realizadas entre 2000 e
2015 no Programa de Pós-graduação em
Educação: História, Política, Sociedade (EHPS)
da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São
Paulo (PUC-SP). Baseado em outras leituras,
a hipótese deste trabalho é a de que embora
haja expressiva produção acadêmica no âmbito
de investigações em educação, essa produção
não se configura como um corpo teórico capaz
de interferir decisivamente no cotidiano da
educação brasileira. A análise das produções
de teses e dissertações se efetivou a partir
dos seus resumos; visando, dessa forma, a
um levantamento da produção acadêmica do
EHPS capaz de oferecer algumas pistas do
que tem sido produzido pelos discentes nos
últimos anos, precisamente entre 2000 e 2015.
A este trabalho coube investigar as produções
que se apresentavam no campo de busca do
site da biblioteca da Pontifícia Universidade
Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) a partir dos
descritores “ensino de português” e “ensino de
história”. Como resultado do levantamento, foi
possível verificar que há trabalhos que parecem
construir, entre si, algum diálogo, ainda que não
tenha sido possível verificar se isso acontece
de forma direta. Há, ao mesmo tempo, uma
grande dispersão de assuntos e reiterada
concentração de trabalhos que visam estudar o
Ensino Fundamental e Médio.

Abstract:
The idea that guided the
production of this work was the need to know
better the direction of academic production in
education in the EHPS in the last fifteen years.
The main objective of this work was to survey
the production of theses and dissertations,
whose subjects were linked to didactics or teaching practice, carried out between 2000
and 2015 in the Postgraduate Program in Education: History, Politics, Society (EHPS)
Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Based on other reading, the
hypothesis of this work is that although there is an expressive academic production
in the scope of investigations in education, this production is not configured as a
theoretical body capable of interfering decisively in the daily life of Brazilian education.
The analysis of the productions of theses and dissertations was effected from their
summaries; aiming, in this way, to a survey of the academic production of the EHPS
capable of offering some clues of what has been produced by the students in the last
years, precisely between 2000 and 2015. This work had to investigate the productions
that appeared in the field of search of the site of the library of the Pontifical Catholic
University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) from the descriptors “teaching Portuguese” and
“teaching history”. As a result of the survey, it was possible to verify that there are
works that seem to construct, among themselves, some dialogue, although it was not
possible to verify if this happens directly. There is, at the same time, a great dispersion
of subjects and a reiterated concentration of works that aim to study Elementary and
High School.
