Abstract: The goal of this text is to present how a group of teachers from Colégio de Aplicação at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (CA/UFSC) offers and establishes the use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) in basic education. The group of teachers who investigated this issue for the construction of this text has applied digital technologies in their pedagogy for more than a decade, with each teacher bringing individual and collective experiences regarding the use of digital technologies. With proper technical support, the encounter of these teachers at CA/UFSC has also enabled the development of courses for teacher training and lifelong learning for professionals who work in education. The goal of this text is to show elements of management and application of digital information and communication technologies in basic education that this multidisciplinary team has already developed. More specifically, this text has the goal of presenting: strategies and digital technological tools that the group of teachers has in common; observations about teacher training regarding the management of knowledge with digital resources; and intricacies of some tools for basic education and teacher training, such as the Virtual Learning Environment Moodle. The work methodology and delivery of classes using technological tools by this team takes place in different ways because the applications for basic education are aligned with the needs of different areas and subjects. Moran (2013), Kenski (2013), Bergmann (2016) have been the theoretical framework of the works that this group conducts. It is relevant to point out that the use of technologies in classrooms can have the effect of reinforcing motivation and its socialization in the school environment. However, to pursue qualified motivation, a multiple and personalized teaching-learning methodology is necessary for each educational reality.
