OS REBATIMENTOS DA POLÍTICA CORONELISTA NA ATUAÇÃO DOS ASSISTENTES SOCIAIS NA BAIXADA FLUMINENSE
Este trabalho propõe analisar os
rebatimentos da política coronelista, com
práticas clientelista e assistencialista, na
atuação dos assistentes sociais da Baixada
Fluminense. Num primeiro momento,
apresenta-se como foram construídas as
relações de poder neste território, com base na
violência e coerção. Logo após apresenta-se
um breve histórico da profissão e sua busca por
uma renovação crítica. Na sequência, discute
os desafios cuja prática profissional se insere
no âmbito da correlação de poderes e forças
sociais presentes na Baixada Fluminense.

Abstract:
This work proposes to analyze
the refutations of the colonelist politics, with
practices clientelist and assistentialist, in the
action of the social assistants of the Baixada
Fluminense. First, it presents how the relations
of power in this territory were built, based on
violence and coercion. Soon after, a brief history
of the profession and its search for a critical
renovation are presented. In the sequence, it
discusses the challenges whose professional
practice falls within the scope of the correlation
of powers and social forces present in the
Baixada Fluminense
