: Este relato apresenta os resultados

de uma pesquisa que teve por objetivo analisar o

desempenho dos estudantes do EJA nível II (8º e

9º ano) após uma intervenção pedagógica sobre

frações e números decimais numa perspectiva

freireana em torno do tema gerador "Os preços

estão na hora da morte". Para a realização

do estudo utilizamos como procedimento

metodológico a pesquisa-ação que é concebida

e realizada em estreita associação com a ação

ou com a resolução de um problema coletivo

em que os pesquisadores e participantes

estão envolvidos de forma cooperativa ou

participativa. A realização da intervenção

pedagógica favoreceu aos estudantes da EJA

reconstruir seus conhecimentos sobre fração e

números decimais a partir de suas experiências,

onde o tema gerador esteve relacionado com

seus interesses e vivências contribuindo para o

aprendizado da Matemática

Abstract:
This report presents the results of

a survey that aimed to analyze the performance

of the students of ADULT and YOUTH

EDUCATION level II (8th and 9th year) after

an educational intervention about fractions and

decimal numbers in freireana around the theme

“generator prices are at the time of death “.

To perform the study used as methodological

procedure action research that is designed and

carried out in close association with the action or

the settlement of a collective problem in which

researchers and participants are involved in order

cooperative or participatory. The achievement

of pedagogical intervention favored students

from the EJA rebuild their knowledge of fraction

and decimal numbers from their experiences,

where the theme generator was related to their

interests and experiences contributing to the

learning of mathematics
