OS PARQUES URBANOS COMO ESPAÇOS DE BEM-ESTAR E QUALIDADE DE VIDA NA ATUALIDADE. UMA BREVE ANÁLISE NA CIDADE DE MAUÁ-SP
Segundo a Constituição
Federal todos temos direito ao meio
ambiente ecologicamente equilibrado,
essencial a qualidade de vida, e que deve ser
proporcionado pelo poder público. Os parques
urbanos existem desde o início da história
da humanidade suprindo necessidades e
ofertando serviços socioambientais ao longo do
tempo, proporcionando proteção, subsistência,
contemplação, recreação, educação, e outros
serviços. Há uma variedade de modelos de
parques urbanos atuais, e dependendo da
atuação do poder público regional, supõese
que há o aumento da oferta de melhoria
na qualidade de vida população ou não. Em
razão do sistema político econômico atual há
uma valorização do retorno financeiro que
pode trazer a ocupação urbana em detrimento
do retorno oferecido pelos espaços verdes
à qualidade de vida. Eventualmente, há a
preocupação de que os espaços verdes sejam
mantidos apenas quando houver a oportunidade
de retorno financeiro. Apresentaremos uma
breve análise no município de Mauá, localizado
no ABC Paulista, estado de São Paulo,
cidade reconhecida como um polo industrial;
apresentando as condições socioambientais
e consequentemente oportunidades para
melhoria na qualidade de vida da população
local, de dois parques localizados no município,
sendo um deles classificado como Área de
Preservação Ambiental e Área Especial de
Interesse Ambiental.

Abstract:
According to the Federal
Constitution, we all have the right to an
ecologically balanced environment, essential to
quality of life, and that must be provided by the
public power. Urban parks have existed since
the beginning of human history, supplying needs
and offering social and environmental services
over time, providing protection, subsistence,
contemplation, recreation, education, and
other services. There are a variety of models
of current urban parks, and depending on the
performance of the regional public power, it is
assumed that there is an increase in the supply
of improvement in quality of life population
or not. Due to the current economic political
system, there is an appreciation of the financial
return that can bring the urban occupation
to the detriment of the return offered by the
green spaces to the quality of life. Eventually,
there is concern that green spaces will only be maintained when there is an opportunity for financial return. We will present a brief
analysis in the municipality of Mauá, located in ABC Paulista, state of São Paulo, a city
recognized as an industrial pole; presenting the socio-environmental conditions and
consequently opportunities for improvement in the quality of life of the local population,
of two parks located in the municipality, one of them being classified as Environmental
Preservation Area and Special Area of Environmental Interest
