OS IMPACTOS ECONÔMICOS E SOCIAIS DA PARALISAÇÃO DA CADEIA PRODUTIVA AVÍCOLA NO MUNICÍPIO DE MIRIM DOCE – SC
A região do Alto Vale do Itajaí, no
qual está localizado o município de Mirim
Doce, desenvolveu a mais de três décadas a
atividade avícola. Fomentando a arrecadação
do município e a vida das famílias. Desde o
início da década de 80, a Perdigão exerceu
parceria com os avicultores, mas paralisou
suas atividades em novembro de 2012. Após
a paralisação pela empresa, os avicultores
ficaram um determinado espaço de tempo
com os aviários fechados. Em seguida a então
Empresa Tyson Multinacional Americana, firmou
parceria com os avicultores. No fim de julho de
2014, a JBS anunciou acordo para compra dos
negócios de aves da norte-americana Tyson
Foods no Brasil e no México. Mas em fevereiro
de 2016, a empresa anunciou definitivamente
a paralisação das atividades na região do
Alto Vale do Itajaí, devido a alguns fatores,
principalmente referente a logística, o aumento
dos custos no transporte e a inviabilidade da
produção de aves na região. Com esperança
de conseguir rever a suspensão com o
comprador de frangos, lideranças regionais
pedem agilidade na construção de uma rodovia
para baratear o transporte do milho e da soja.
Outra alternativa seria a parceria com uma
Cooperativa da região. A presente pesquisa
terá como finalidade, investigar o impacto
causado na vida das famílias e na arrecadação
do município de Mirim Doce, em decorrência da
paralisação das atividades.

Abstract:
The Upper Vale do Itajaí region, in
which the municipality of Mirim Doce is located,
has developed the poultry activity for more than
three decades. Encouraging the collection of the
municipality and the life of the families. Since the
beginning of activities in the region in the 80’s,
Perdigão has partnered with poultry farmers, but
stopped its activities in november 2012. After
the stoppage by the company, the producers
stayed a certain time with the closed aviaries.
Then the then American Multinational Company
Tyson, has partnered with poultry farmers. In
late July 2014, JBS announced an agreement
to purchase the poultry business of the North
American Tyson Foods in Brazil and Mexico.
But in February 2016, the company announced
definitilly a halt in activities in the Alto Vale do
Itajaí region, due to some factors, mainly related to logistics, increased transport costs
and the infeasibility of poultry production in the region. Hoping to be able to review
the suspension with the buyer of chickens, regional leaders call for agility in building
a highway to cheapen the transportation of corn and soybeans. Another alternative
would be the partnership with a Cooperative of the region. The present research will
have as purpose to investigate the impact caused in the life of the families and in the
collection of the municipality of Mirim Doce, due to the paralysis of the activities.
