OS GÊNEROS TEXTUAIS E SUA APLICABILIDADE SOCIAL
Considerando a riqueza sociocomunicativa dos gêneros textuais na vida em sociedade, o trabalho com os gêneros textuais deve ser um ponto forte nas aulas de Língua Portuguesa, visto que por meio de sua riqueza, circulação e constituição é possível compreender a linguagem em funcionamento nas práticas culturais e sociais. Assim, interessa-nos entender qual o papel dos gêneros no ensino de compreensão de textos.

Abstract:
Considering the socio-communicative richness of textual genres in life in society, working with textual genres should be a strong point in Portuguese Language classes, since through their richness, circulation and constitution it is possible to understand the language at work in cultural and social practices. Thus, we are interested in understanding the role of genres in teaching text comprehension.
