OS EFEITOS DA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19 SOBRE A REGULAÇÃO DO COMÉRCIO INTERNACIONAL COMO ESTABELECIDA PELA OMC E SEUS PRINCÍPIOS NORTEADORES
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo exemplificar os efeitos causados pela pandemia da Covid-19 no Comércio Internacional de acordo com a Organização Mundial do Comércio (OMC) e seus princípios norteadores. Nesse sentido, busca-se ressaltar a importância dos princípios da OMC com ênfase no incentivo à boa governança e redução dos custos no comércio internacional. Objetiva-se caracterizar os efeitos e medidas tomadas pela OMC em meio à pandemia atual à luz do princípio da Transparência. Nessa perspectiva, visa-se demonstrar os efeitos políticos, jurídicos e econômicos desse período no âmbito da OMC. Diante da escassez de informações claras e padronizadas sobre o assunto, justifica-se a necessidade da presente pesquisa científica a fim de trazer uma análise concreta para os interessados na temática e a sociedade em geral. A metodologia de pesquisa utilizada no presente artigo científico pode ser classificada como revisão bibliográfica, pois se baseia em análise e discussões doutrinárias, sites oficiais, em livros jurídicos, artigos jurídicos em revistas de Direito sobre o tema, entre outros. Quanto à metodologia de trabalho em tela, faz-se a opção pelo método hipotético-dedutivo.

Abstract:
This paper aims to exemplify the effects caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on international trade according to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and its guiding principles. In this sense, it seeks to highlight the importance of the principles of the WTO with emphasis on encouraging good governance and reducing costs in international trade. It aims to characterize the effects and measures taken by the WTO in the midst of the current pandemic in the light of the principle of transparency. In this perspective, it aims to demonstrate the political, legal, and economic effects of this period within the WTO. Given the scarcity of clear and standardized information on the subject, the need for this scientific research is justified in order to bring a concrete analysis for those interested in the topic and society in general. The research methodology used in the present scientific article can be classified as bibliographic review, since it is based on doctrinal analysis and discussions, official sites, in legal books, legal articles in law reviews on the subject, among others. As for the methodology of the work in question, the hypothetical-deductive method is chosen.
