OS CABARÉS IPUENSES: O COMÉRCIO DO SEXO EM IPU (1960-1980)
O objetivo deste artigo é analisar
a tomada de atitude e o não silenciar das
prostitutas dos cabarés de Ipu, no interior do
Ceará, durante as de 1960 à 1980, na luta contra
o patriarcalismo e o machismo, fortemente
notados na sociedade da época. Utilizando
os relatos das meretrizes, dos frequentadores
e de pesquisadores, apontando detalhes das
vidas das mulheres trabalhadoras do sexo,
como as motivações que levaram ao ingresso
e à saída das meretrizes do mercado sexual,
além de entender as relações sociais entre as
mulheres públicas e os indivíduos da sociedade
de bem. Empregando o método de pesquisa
qualitativa, e de cunho exploratório, apoiamos
nossas ideias em textos, mas principalmente,
nos relatos das próprias prostitutas, dos
frequentadores dos cabarés, historiadores e
policiais que exerceram sua função durante o
recorte temporal estudado.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to
analyze the taking of attitude and unmute the
prostitutes of the cabarets of Ipu, in the state
of Ceará, during the 1960 to 1980, in the fight
against patriarchy and machismo, strongly
noted in society at the time. Using the reports
of harlots, the regulars and researchers pointing
to details of the lives of women sex workers, as
the motivations that led to the entrance and exit
of prostitutes of the sexual market, in addition
to understanding social relations among women
and individuals of society well. Employing the
method of qualitative research, and exploratory
nature, we support our ideas in texts, but mainly
in the accounts of prostitutes, of the regulars the
cabarets, historians and polices who exercised
your function during the studied period.
