Abstract: This article sought to analyze the benefits of Mozambique in the European Union (EU) trade agreements. In terms of specific objectives, the following were achieved: to present the vision and objectives of the European Union agreements; Challenges of the European Union trade agreements; Benefits of the European trade agreements for Mozambique and Recommendations. In methodological terms, the article was based on a bibliographic review, with the support of different authors who address the subject, seeking to present their perspectives, positions and arguments of the researcher. The results allowed us to realize that the European Union represents the main economic bloc in the world. It has member countries that have a high level of intergeneration, and mainly by the use of a single currency. Characterized by bringing together countries with a high degree of development and industrialization of the European continent. In terms of its main objective, economic and political integration among the member countries. It exists as a functioning mechanism of several supranational bodies that deliberate internal matters of the bloc. Given the responsibilities of the European Union, they also face challenges in terms of ensuring environmental sustainability in their countries and implementing social security policies due to the unemployment crisis. Another aspect is ensuring investment in the different member states. As an African country, Mozambique benefits from EU trade agreements, created with a view to strengthening trade relations between EU member states and African countries. One example is the EPA, which aims to open up the market for products of Mozambican origin, also serving as an opportunity to improve the business environment.
