Abstract: Preferential Agreements (PAs) are legal instruments that promote trade liberalization between two or more countries, with mutual benefits in terms of tariffs or not exactly tariffs, but restricted to the signatory countries. Understanding the benefits Mozambique benefits from the preferential agreement with Indonesia in the trade of goods is the objective of this research. The study methodology was a literature review, with a qualitative approach and descriptive objective. It has been found that this agreement offers Mozambique benefits related to the expansion of its exports and strengthens local production sectors. Tariff reduction and trade simplification make the country more attractive to foreign investors. In addition to promoting trade, the agreement can contribute to Mozambique's economic growth and encourage its industrialization and job creation.
