Os acordos preferenciais (APs) são instrumentos jurídicos que promovem a liberalização comercial entre dois ou mais países, com benefícios mútuos em tarifas ou não exactamente em tarifas, mas restritos aos paises signatários. Compreender os benefícios de Moçambique no acordo preferencial com a Indonésia no comércio de mercadorias constitui o objectivo desta pesquisa. A metodologia de estudo foi a revisão bibliográfica, quanto a abordagem é qualitativa e quanto ao objectivo é descritiva. Como constatação, este acordo oferece à Moçambique beneficios relacionados com a ampliação das suas exportações e fortalece sectores produtivos locais. A redução de tarifas e a simplificação do comércio tornam o país mais atrativo para investidores estrangeiros. Além de favorecer o comércio, o acordo pode contribuir para o crescimento económico de Moçambique e incentivar a sua industrialização e a geração de empregos.

  • Abstract: Preferential Agreements (PAs) are legal instruments that promote trade liberalization between two or more countries, with mutual benefits in terms of tariffs or not exactly tariffs, but restricted to the signatory countries. Understanding the benefits Mozambique benefits from the preferential agreement with Indonesia in the trade of goods is the objective of this research. The study methodology was a literature review, with a qualitative approach and descriptive objective. It has been found that this agreement offers Mozambique benefits related to the expansion of its exports and strengthens local production sectors. Tariff reduction and trade simplification make the country more attractive to foreign investors. In addition to promoting trade, the agreement can contribute to Mozambique's economic growth and encourage its industrialization and job creation.
