Abstract: The article "The Benefits of Early Post-Operative Physiotherapy" highlights the importance of physiotherapy starting soon after solid organ transplantation, such as heart, lung, kidney, pancreas and liver. Early intervention is essential to improve patient recovery, increasing physical function, reducing complications and improving quality of life. Through a systematic review of clinical studies carried out between 2010 and 2023, the article reveals that early physiotherapy leads to significant improvements in lung function, muscle strength and mobility, in addition to reducing the incidence of complications such as pneumonia and deep vein thrombosis. Patients who received early physical therapy also had a reduced hospital stay, on average, of 3 to 5 days. It is concluded that physiotherapy must be integrated into post-transplant care protocols to optimize clinical results and long-term well-being of patients.
